About these terms

These terms cover your use of this website. They are not the contract for your move. The agreement governing your move is the written estimate and bill of lading you sign with Home Movers Express, and where the two differ, the signed estimate controls.

The website is information, not an offer

Everything on this site — service descriptions, coverage areas, hours, and the example manifest shown on the pricing page — is provided for information. Nothing here is a binding quote. The example manifest illustrates how we itemize an estimate; it is one past job, not a rate card, and your own price is built from your own home.

Quotes and estimates

A price becomes binding only when we have assessed your move, issued a written estimate, and you have signed it. The price on a signed binding estimate does not change unless you change the job — adding rooms or services, or moving to or from a different address than the one quoted.

Availability and scheduling

Dates and arrival windows are confirmed when you book. We may need to adjust for severe weather or a genuine safety issue, and if that happens we will contact you as early as we can.

Your responsibilities

• Give us accurate information about what is moving and the access at both ends — that is what the estimate is built on.
• Secure lawful access to both properties, including gate codes, parking, and any building approvals your property requires.
• Do not give us hazardous materials to transport. Fuel, propane, paint, chemicals, ammunition, and similar items cannot legally go on the truck.
• Keep irreplaceable items with you: cash, jewelry, passports, deeds, medication, and anything you cannot afford to have out of your sight.

Liability

Liability for loss or damage to your belongings is governed by the valuation coverage stated on your signed estimate and bill of lading, and by applicable Texas and federal regulations for household goods carriers. Ask us about your valuation options before move day — the default level of liability provided by law is minimal, and it is worth understanding.

Intellectual property

The Home Movers Express name, logo, and the content of this site belong to Home Movers Express and may not be reproduced without permission.

Accuracy

We keep this site current, but we do not warrant that every detail is free of error or omission at all times. If something here conflicts with what we tell you directly, ask us and we will confirm it in writing.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
