Packing & Unpacking

A real inventory list, not a guess.

Packing is where most moves go wrong. Under-packed boxes shift and things break; over-packed boxes split at the bottom; unlabeled boxes turn unpacking into a two-week scavenger hunt.

We pack room by room with materials matched to the contents — dish barrels for kitchens, wardrobe boxes for hanging clothes, mirror cartons for framed art — and every box gets labeled for the room it leaves and the room it lands in.

Typically booked for

  • Anyone short on time before move day
  • Kitchens, china cabinets, and garages
  • Art, collections, and fragile inventory
  • Seniors and anyone who should not be lifting
What's included

What packing & unpacking actually covers.

Full or partial packing

Take the whole house or just the kitchen and the garage. Most people hand us the rooms they dread and keep the rest.

Materials included and accounted for

Boxes, paper, bubble, tape, and specialty cartons are itemized on your estimate, not tacked on afterward.

Fragile and high-value packing

China, stemware, framed art, and electronics get double-boxed or crated depending on what they are.

Unpacking and debris removal

We can unpack at the other end and haul the empty boxes and paper away, so you are not living with a cardboard mountain.

  • Binding written estimate — no reweigh games
  • No deposit required to book
  • Video or in-home walkthrough before you commit
  • One crew start to finish — never subcontracted

Questions

Worth knowing first.

Do you pack for me, or do I pack myself?

Either. We do full-service packing, partial packing of just the rooms you would rather not handle, or nothing at all if you have it covered. Whatever you choose is priced on the estimate before move day.

Do you supply boxes and materials?

Yes — boxes, paper, bubble wrap, tape, wardrobe boxes, dish barrels, and mirror cartons. They are itemized on your estimate rather than added afterward.

How do you protect furniture and floors?

Furniture pads, shrink wrap, floor runners, and door jamb protection come standard on every job. Wrapping happens before anything moves rather than after something gets scratched.

Can you move a piano, a safe, or other heavy specialty items?

Yes. Pianos, safes, gun cabinets, oversized glass, and artwork are handled with the right equipment and quoted individually so there is no surprise on the day.

Will you disassemble and reassemble furniture?

Yes. Beds, tables, mirrors, and anything else that has to come apart to clear a doorway goes back together at the other end, in the room you want it in.

Can you move my office without shutting down the business?

That is how we schedule commercial jobs by default — evenings, weekends, and holiday closures. Workstations are labeled by seat and IT equipment is tracked separately so Monday morning looks normal.
